HYUNDAI - GOAL OF THE CENTURY
When all the FIFA World Cup 2022 sponsors focused on selling more, shifting more and producing more, we focused on less. Less CO2 emissions, less waste, and less harm done to our planet. We created a campaign called Goal of the Century:
This is the first manifesto film that I wrote, which was funnily enough narrated by the biggest pop star in the world - RM from the K-POP sensation BTS. It also features the captain of Team Century, legendary football player Steven Gerrard.
Here’s an example of how Steven Gerrard’s pledge helped the reforestation initiative in England.
Throughout the GOTC campaign Hyundai even collaborated with Grimshaw architects to create a fully sustainable FIFA museum.
We would hijack every monumental moment from the FIFA World Cup and make it ours.
