HAMBURG BICYCLE
Hamburg strives to become the most bike-friendly city. And the client ‘Hamburg Marketing’ wanted us to motivate more people to get on their bikes instead of using cars. The task was to come up with something that created a big buzz around the topic. This is why we decided to give the logo and claim of the most famous German car brands a little twist.
“Mehr Vorsprung durch Technik” is the original claim from Audi that (roughly) translates to “More advantage through technology”. So, we exchanged Audi’s trademark “circles logo” with bicycle wheels and rewrote their claim to “More advantage through less Technology”.
“Freude am Fahren” is the original claim from BMW that (roughly) translates to “The Joy Of A Ride”. So, we exchanged BMW’s logo with a bicycle wheel and rewrote their claim to “More Joy While Riding”.
“Das Beste oder Nichts” is the original claim from Mercedes-Benz that translates to “The Best or Nothing”. So, we exchanged Mercedes-Benz’s logo with a bicycle wheel and rewrote it to “A Bicycle or Nothing”. Feel the burn.
